Punches become shifts, timesheets and an attendance summary with late arrivals, late minutes and hours shortfall. Staff who are not near a machine can clock in from the web portal.

Payroll runs month by month in Pakistani rupees, with gross pay, net pay and employer cost on one screen. You set up pay components, tax regimes and a payroll calendar for each company. Tax is configured as slab tables, including the fixed amount plus percentage method used in Pakistan. Regular, off-cycle and correction runs are supported.

Blocking exceptions must be fixed before a run can be submitted. HR prepares the run and Finance releases the money, so the person who submits payroll can never pay it out. Loans and salary advances are recovered through payroll automatically, unpaid leave flows into payroll automatically, and employees get payslips and tax certificates in their own portal.

Define annual, sick, casual and any other leave types with accrual and carry-forward rules, then let balances update on their own with a full history behind every number. Public holidays are kept by country. Employees request time off from the portal and see what they have left by leave type, and each request goes to their manager for approval with a notification when it is decided.

Leave, attendance corrections, work from home, timesheets, loans, expense claims and IT equipment requests all go through one approval engine. Managers work from a single inbox, and every change to an employee, a salary or a request is recorded with who made it and when.
